This is one of our earliest demos. Louis produced the beat and handed it off to Ryan. It took some time, but he finished a couple verses for it. As more time passed, Louis continued to have trouble with coming up a chorus for the song, ultimately deciding to leave it as it is.
lyrics
[Verse 1]
Artist in disguise
No surprise
When you open your eyes
You see everything that lies
On the inside
Damages your pride
Advantages arise
Meeting your demise
Sorry I defied
I was searching for the insight
In spite
What I write
For the night
I searching for what's right
Now Let's take flight
Cause I'm off
Don't know right from wrong
But I could show you that were on
All time long
Hold up
Cause we'll throw up
As you show up
Soon we'll blow up
You'll never grow up
Nothing to do till noon
We've got nothing to prove
Just me and you
Plus the other two
So what's left to do
The rest is left to you
Cause we're out of this world
Possibly a different state
Just behold and see what we have in stake
Hold up
Cause we're taking your place
[Verse 2]
Behold
As we unfold
All the secrets that we should've kept untold
Cause we're bold
You'll never know
Unless we throw
But we never fold
Hang back cause we're leading the road
Leading the show
Got the leaves in the bowl
We're ready to go
Hold on
No man we're ready to blow
Up
Cause this is a sign of you all being stuck
In a rut
Cause I'm second to none
I'm ready to run
I've already won
No time
You just jumped the gun
Expecting me to jump
No I'm not a chump
It was destined the game turn out 37 to none
But it's overtime
So Imma spit out another rhyme
And you could just
Sit back and take your time
Cause this game is mine
Along with your time
I'm just taking what's mine
No pennies nickels or dimes
