This one was around for a long time. Previously, back in 2014, the band decided they wanted to write an "epic" song for their debut, and if they couldn't finish it by the end of September, they would quit. At this point, it was called "Until Tomorrow/September's song". Of course, life happened and they didn't finished, but coincidentally forgot about what they said about quitting. Eventually, Louis was looking through his email and found a drum part for the song. He remembered the riff that he wrote to it and recreated the whole song off of a simple drum loop, renaming it "The Wounded". Louis showed it to the rest of the band and they quickly pulled their lyrics together, once again retitling it as "Tomorrow", alluding to the original title of the song.
lyrics
(Verse 1)
The same thought unravels in my head
Me thinking of what I could've said
Instead
But I've made my bed and imma lie in it
Forget what you said?
Don't rely on it
Because I'm born again
Here to win
Tell a friends I'm here once again
And I don't want to here about your come agains
So forget the past
Thank you and please don't come again
P.s I'm better than the rest of them
When the heats on they scurry
Like zero oxygen
Hunting for the question
Cause i got answers
Don't get it
It seems to make sense again
And now we pretend we're friends
That's over
No need to suspend
[Chorus]
Tomorrows so far away
I'll count the days
Till they take me away
Tomorrows so far away
All I can say is I hope I make it alive
(Verse 2)
I'm feeling far and near
At the same time
It's an emotional rollercoaster
They grab the holster
Coast to coast
I'm the hoster
Till I get you feeling closer
The feelings then erupts
Blisters and wounded ones
We wonder how come
It's apart of life
Don't think twice
In the lime light
But that life's too bright
So you give up right
Wrong
Double sided problems
No solution
Who you foolin
Tryna cool it
But these are my ambitions
That
You can't give up
Stakes too high
So who's the one?
[Chorus]
Tomorrows so far away
I'll count the days
Till they take me away
Tomorrows so far away
All I can say is I hope I make it alive
