In the opinions of the band, Wrong is easily one of the best tracks on this album. It's a simple concept, yet, a sound with a song with meaning behind it.
lyrics
(Verse 1)
The current qualifications
Highly overrated
I was the only one that started
Maybe the only one that waited
Knowing there was no escape
Probably your the one to blame
Wrongly accused of what I didn't do
Now it's death penalty
I couldn't live with you
So how could you
Asking yourself
What to do
In a time of crisis
You blame me
I won't take one for the team
The sparkle
The glimmer
Gotta stay alive
Then revive
All the ones that prophesized
The day we'd live our lives
Living with no surprise
Now we're bound to live
Just to die
In the human eye
We must rely
Heavily
On the team
It's a precious thing
Until we find something better
Trying to stay together
Whatever the weather
We're destined for better
Than what we got
Pulling all the stop
Just to make it to the top
Do you still think of me
I wonder endlessly
I'd love to see
(Chorus: Louis {Ryan})
I was never wrong
{And it was never my fault
You turned it all around like we wouldn't catch on}
I should've stayed strong
{And I should've never stopped
Cause in little time I would've found out your real plot}
(Verse 2)
Let's play the blame game
Scrap the whole thing
I can take what you bring
I paid your time
Now I'm set free
Always ready for the day that I can go away
Away from blame
Away from you
And that's the truth
This stupid game
They call it life
But it's not right
This might be outta spite
That doesn't change a thing
Cause they said I was wrong
When it was you all along
Running marathons
Just to disprove
Cause you misused
What should I do
Yelling cause I hate you
That's now a daily thing
But you'll soon see
Cause as intentions grow
The world around slows
And the truth is shown
Blown
Twisted
Convicted
In mean deeper then that
But that's all beyond me
When terms are thrown
And I'm all alone
Both of our covers blown
Trying to find the crosslink
Today's the day
I pave the way
Leave this world
That's filled of hate
(Chorus: Louis {Ryan})
I was never wrong
{And it was never my fault
You turned it all around like we wouldn't catch on}
I should've stayed strong
{And I should've never stopped
Cause in little time I would've found out your real plot}
(Verse 3) Louis)
You start the war but you don't feed your soldiers
Try to take away my life when you said that it was over
Sure, I didn't see it coming, but neither did you
You might have planned it out but you didn't think it through so
We're in this battlefield, we don't know what to do
Try our hardest to hold on, but those cracks we're slipping through
are only growing in size, kinda like your lies
